HGV / ADR Driver

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)
• Class 1 advantage or abilty to work towards class 1
• A digital tachograph card and full CPC
• Minimum 1 years of driving Class 2 is essential to be considered for the role
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent customer service
• Driven Class 2 within the last 6 months
• Previous multidrop experience

The Role:

Working for a fast paced family owned company. Based at our Ammanford site, you will work a Mon – Fri on our fleet of bulk and cylinder LPG trucks.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Driving Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in bulk, to homes and businesses
• Driving Class 2 and potentially Class 1 vehicles in accordance with ADR standard
• Working with your team on a daily basis
• Loading and unloading of vehicle
• Ensuring excellent customer service
• Driving safely and considerately
• Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
• Daily vehicle inspections
• Working hours ensuring you have a work/life balance
• Excellent driving assessment and induction training programme with ongoing training opportunities
  including Driver CPC module updates
• Overtime as required

Job Types:

Permanent, Full-time

Experience:

• HGV Class 2: 1 year (required)
• Multidrop: 1 year (preferred)
• Licence/Certification:
• CPC card (preferred)
• ADR qualification (preferred)

Salary:

£13 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
